China is an epic adventure. The sheer diversity of China’s terrain is a reason to come back again and again. From the volcanic dishes of Sichuan to some of the highest mountains in the world. China isn’t a country : it’s a different world.
Climb high peaks and explore virgin mountain ranges. Observe the amazing nature and wildlife in Sichuan province, known by naturalists from around the world as one of the most outstanding wildernesses in the world.
China is one of the countries with the greatest diversity of wildlife in the world. There are more than 4,400 species of vertebrates, more than 10 percent of the world’s total. There are nearly 500 animal species, 1,189 species of birds, more than 320 species of reptiles and 210 species of amphibians. The peculiar China’s wildlife includes such well-known animals as the giant panda, the golden-haired monkey, the South China tiger, the brown-eared pheasant, the white-flag dolphin, and the Chinese alligator, totalling more than 100 species.
The demographics of China are identified by a large and diverse population. Here we can find villages set in bamboo groves, atop misty hills, inhabited by the Miaos, the Gejias and other minorities whose traditions, dances, costumes and festivals still remain as a mistery. In 1995, China released an amazing news report about two unclassified tribes living in the Sichuan province, on the eastern border of the Baian Kara Ula Mountains. They call themselves the Dzopa or the Han and they firmly believe that their predecessors were from outer space. To date, anthropologists have been unable to categorize either of these tribes into any known race.
