The Agri Dag, or Mount Ararat is the highest mountain in Turkey, a volcano 5,137 m altitude.

Traditionally it is considered as the point where Noah's ark rested after the great flood. Many ascend this mountain expeditions in the summer months. Optionally we can schedule a trekking in the nearby mountains of Kaçkar or in the Taurus Mountains, with the rise of mountains above 3,700 m that will facilitate acclimatization before tackling the climb to Ararat.
On a clear day one can see from the summit and the distant mountains Elbrus Caucasus and the Damavand in Iran.
Day 1 - Flight Spain - Istanbul
Day 2 - Flight to Van and transfer to Dogubeyazit
Day 3 - Dogubeyazit - Base Camp (3,200 m)
Day 4 - Acclimatization to C1 (4,200 m) - Base Camp
Day 5 - Base Camp - C1
Day 6 - Climb Ararat (5,137 m) - Base Camp
Day 7 - Base Camp - Palace Ishakpasa - Dogubeyazit
Day 8 - Dogubeyazit - Akdamar Island - Van
Day 9 - Flight Van - Istanbul - Spain
