The Llullaillaco is a great mountain in every way, not only for being the seventh highest mountain in America, but for the mysticism it has. The Llullaillaco constitutes the highest Incan santuary: in 1999 was discovered near the summit, at 6700 m, the burial of three Inca children who were sacrificed as an offering to the Incan god Apus.
