15 days
The Terskey Alatau mountain range is positioned south of Lake Issyk Kul. Located south of the mountain range and west of Terskey Inilchek valley we can admire the Kuilu mountain range. Its highest peak, Constitution (5281m) dominates the eastern part of the area.
The western part of the area is the destination of our adventure, an area of mountains and wild unknown. We will walk through places unknown except for the nomads who live in the area. During the trip you will have the chance to summit three mountains over 4,000 meters of medium difficulty. We will need crampons, ice ax and rope ascension to perform two of them. Also we will explore the foot of the valley, crossing nexto to the glacier to view the icefall glacier itself and the chaos of ice and snow on the vertical walls of the two highest mountains in this valley. We’ll visit the nomads, who live very close to where we will set up our base camp to have a taste of the way of life this family has had for many years.
