TRAVEL ITINERARY
DAY 1. FLIGHT AND ARRIVAL IN BANJUL
Pick up and presentation at the airport with time to carry out the legal formalities at customs.

DAY 2. SERREKUNDA-LAMIN LODGE-BRIKAMA-SANYANG-TANJI
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Depart in the morning for Serrekunda, the largest town in The Gambia, located just 3 km from the seaside resorts. It is a busy city with the traditional hustle of Gambian life. The visits this day include the following:
Serrekunda Market: shopping streets where they sell everything: fabric shops, batik factories, etc. Lamin Lodge: It is a restaurant built in wood located between mangroves with monkeys and birds. After the Lamin Lodge, continue by road to Brikama (the second largest city). To visit the craft market. Continuation towards Sanyang beach, where we will make a stop to enjoy a typical Gambian lunch on the beautiful South coast. On the way back, we will visit the fishing village of Tanji, to observe the way of life of the fishermen and their traditional tasks, such as the process of removing and smoking the fish. From Tanji driving back to our hotel.

DAY 3. SERREKUNDA-KALAGIE-TENDABA
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Depart early in the morning after breakfast. Continuation by road to Tendaba, en route we will visit towns of different ethnic groups (Fulas, Mandinka, Jola, etc). On the way we will eat in the town of Kalagie. After lunch continue on the road to Tendaba (45 min). Arrival and check-in at our accommodation. Later we will take a traditional boat ride along the river and its canals, to discover the large number of birdlife that inhabits this place. Return to the lodge.

DAY 4. TENDABA-SOMA-FARAFENI-WASSU-LKUNTAUR-GEORGETOWN
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, continue on the road to Bamba Tenda passing through Soma. We will cross the river by ferry to its North shore (Farafeni). In that town we will have lunch. After lunch we will head towards Wassu, where we will visit the stone circles, grouped around burial sites, some of which date back to A.D. 750. After Wassu we will leave for Kuntaur to take a traditional boat ride and discover this beautiful stretch of the Gambia River. We will see the Baboon Islands at a distance, which are home to an important chimpanzee rehabilitation project (closed to the public) .During the 5 hour journey we will have the possibility to see a large number of fauna: baboons, monkeys, hippos and great variety of birds. Arrival at sunset to the camp located next to the river bank. Dinner.

DAY 5. GEORGETOWN-SOMA-KASSAGNE
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
In the morning departure to the south of the country crossing the bridge over the river. Continuation by road to Kassagne passing through Soma, where lunch is scheduled. After lunch, we continue towards Kassagne, swimming pool and free afternoon. We will sleep in the Abcas camp.

DAY 6. KASSAGNE-BRIKAMA-KARTONG
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Heading to Kartong passing Brikama. Arrival at the coast. Until mid-afternoon we will have free time. In the afternoon we will visit Kartong, going through its streets we will reach the border with Senegal. .Return. Hotel accommodation, Kartong.
DAY 7. KARTONG-KACHUMEH-BANJUL
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, departure towards the town of the animists Kachumeh. There we will have time to attend an animistic ceremony with its dances and rituals. Then we will leave for Muskebba Drammeh, to visit the batik factory (dyed fabrics). In the afternoon continuation to Banjul, the capital of The Gambia, where we will visit the Albert Market, the main shopping center of the city, as well as its famous craft market. The Arco22, a huge entrance gate raised to commemorate the Second Republic. It is the tallest building in the city, from whose balcony you can enjoy wonderful views. Dinner in Banjul later and then we will return to our hotel.

DAY 8. GAMBIA-SPAIN
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Free time at our hotel until the agreed time for the transfer to Banjul airport to board the flight back home.
